Jennifer Ciroli
I’m currently a content strategist at Red Hat. My goal is to define and deliver a frictionless, consistent content experience that supports users throughout their journeys and workflows. I spend a lot of time listening, learning, and collaborating with a talented group of people.
But I’m also lots of other things thanks to some great opportunities to explore my interests and expand my skills. I am:
An instructional designer (eLearning)
A content designer and developer
A UX writer
An information architect
A technical writer and trainer
A classroom instructor
A tireless advocate for user experience
In case you haven’t guessed, my happy spot is cross-discipline thinking.
Creating a good content experience — one that helps users and learners succeed — requires a holistic approach. It also takes creativity, teamwork, and a willingness to try new things.
Result? Better support for the end-to-end user or learner journey. Better content and better outcomes. And, of course, that awesome feeling that comes when you know you’ve helped someone succeed.
But life isn’t all about nerding out on content. I love to travel, especially outside the US. I’m an avid diver (as are my husband and kids), which means we spend a lot of time in not-very-flattering wetsuits while looking at very cool sharks, fish, and wrecks. I also love to read. When I’m not traveling, diving, or reading, you can find me puzzling over how the dog got an entire pizza out of the fridge and what he planned to do with the duct tape, toaster tongs, and kitchen lighter he snagged from the kitchen counter.
